EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro Review

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro did the best job of recovering lost and deleted files in our testing. It had a 100% success rate with pictures, music files, Microsoft Office documents (Word/Excel), PDFs, videos from hard drives that were formatted or taken over by Windows 10.

No data-recovery app can retrieve everything but EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard does the best job at retrieving lost and deleted files. This includes rival products could not find trace off it.

If you’ve ever lost important files, photos or videos on your computer and thought that there was no way to bring them back – don’t lose hope!

With programs like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, it’s possible for a professional recovery team to find those precious memories again. Although the app is the best in terms of speed and efficiency, but its success rate isn’t 100%.

It is mainly due to higher-end technologies making data recoveries more difficult than before. However if you’re looking for a Stellar Data Recovery alternative, then try out EaseUs today! In EaseUs Data recovery wizard pro review, you will find its pricing and other information.

EaseUS offers a free version that can rescue up to 2 GB of data and costs $69.95 for the Pro Version. The Pro plan can recover more than 2 GBs or if you want tech support from them.

If you need help with recovery when your computer isn’t bootable, it’ll cost an extra $99. But this option comes along with pre-loaded software called EaseUS WinPE Recovery Media Builder on a USB drive that helps create restoration media.

It works in case something goes wrong while working at home where there’s no internet connection available as well!

Getting Started With EaseUS

steps

EaseUS impressed me from the start in testing. I started by copying an audio CD to a BIN/CUE file combination for burning to a backup CD, and then deleted the files from my hard disk and emptied the recycle bin.

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro is one of the most popular solutions for when your files disappear.

EaseUS got it back in perfect condition while its rival Stellar Data Recovery reported to recover only half of one section of data. Stellar when attempting this same task ended up being useless information instead.

To find files that Stellar couldn’t, EaseUS is far more effective. On the same hard disk, it easily found and recovered at least a dozen graphics files that its competitor didn’t even try to look for in their deep scan.

Both apps offer optional scans of every sector on your drive. However, only one lets you search through already-found recoverable data while the process continues in the background.

This makes searching much faster than having to wait until all sectors are scanned before previewing anything (Stellar).

A 2 TB spinning-platter drive that I used for testing took ten hours to complete a full scan with EaseUS, while Stellar needed 34 hours.

I was able to find the files quickly before it completed its scanning process. This made EaseUs’ ability much more convenient than not being able to recover or do anything else in the program during these scans like stellar did.

Not Everything Can Be Saved

Not all data-recovery apps list files for possible recovery that turn out not to be fully recoverable. Sometimes you have no way of knowing whether a file can be brought back until the app’s preview panel displays it in recognizable form as you scroll down through the listed files.

But then at least some part of your precious document will return with great clarity and detail. If this doesn’t happen when scrolling past an image or graphics file. However, there is just no hope because these types are easy to recognize during scanning, so they won’t even attempt their retrieval process if lost beyond recognition.

Just as EaseUS did a better job of recovering files, it also did a better job by not listing recoverable files that in fact couldn’t be recovered.

For example, on the SSD I used for testing Stellar offered to recover some completely different file types. These were fragments of HTML but was listed as an html file instead.

On the other hand, EaseUS didn’t list these phantom recovery options at all making it easier to sort through its entire data backup and find what is actually available without any distractions or false hopes .

EaseUS lets you save a recovered file to the same drive from which it was originally deleted, unlike Stellar. This is actually dangerous because EaseUS warns that when recovering files and saving them back onto your hard drive, there’s a chance of overwriting other lost data if they’re stored on the same location as where they were recovered.

If the quick scan doesn’t work, the deep scan will be launched next. It usually takes a little longer than the first scan. When it finishes, you will get a complete list of all recoverable files with full paths, file names and sizes. EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard’s Deep Scan feature is designed to help users get back data they thought they lost forever. It can be used when other recovery methods fail or to find deleted files and folders that have been deleted beyond the Recycle Bin.

In this case, Stellar would be safer since no recoveries can take place at all until recovery has been completed elsewhere (e.g., USB).

Your Last, Best Option

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is the best data recovery app we’ve tested. Compared to its rivals, it doesn’t have many flaws.

It automatically previews almost every type of file that can be recovered and makes clicking a button optional for previewing graphic files.

These minor complaints pale in comparison to this program’s benefits. Ease-us Data Recover lost more types of partitions than any other software (including Stellar Disk Recovery).

Also, it recovers from hard drive crashes better than all. But one competitor did when recovering an image created by another utility was used as input instead.

With only two exceptions, EASE US got back everything on our test PC at least once during both rounds of testing while no other program came close either time.
