OS 3.1 sending iPhones into Coma Mode

Submitted by Chris on September 21, 2009 - 9:24am

iPhone OS 3.1 has certainly been a sore update for Apple. From issues with Exchange, to extreme battery drainage and now "coma mode" - something obviously went horribly wrong. While Apple is now investigating the battery problems and has explained the issues with Exchange, they have been rather silent about the "coma mode" bug which is plaguing many iPhone 3G customers including myself.

Submitted by Chris on June 22, 2009 - 6:30am
Remote Wand

We've been hearing rumblings about a total retake of the Apple TV since last year, (they say 3's a charm) with a new Wii-like remote. A slew of patent application filings published on Friday show that Apple  is quite interested in such a device. Apple's "remote wand" first appeared in a patent filing last May and resurfaced again in early March with even more details. However, last Friday saw 5 new patent applications related to the remote wand and methods in which it would interact with electronic devices such as the Apple TV.
